Advocacy in Action: Health Disparities Program

The challenges facing African Americans in California demand that resources are harnessed and a concerted effort is focused on priority issues. In response to this demand, the California Legislative Black Caucus Foundation, in collaboration with the Special Needs Network, Inc. developed the Advocacy In Action: Health Disparities Program. The program targets executive directors and those serving on the board of directors from 20 to 25 health agencies and non-profit organizations that serve people of color within Los Angeles County.
